Every confirmed safari is governed by the date-specific quotation and invoice supplied by Africa Gorilla Trips. Those documents identify the deposit, balance deadline, services included, cancellation conditions and any supplier terms that apply to permits, flights or accommodation.
Deposits and non-refundable services
Gorilla permits, chimpanzee permits, internal flights and selected lodges may require immediate payment and can become non-refundable once issued. The company will explain these conditions before requesting confirmation. A booking is not secured until the required funds have been received and the relevant suppliers have confirmed availability.
Changes and cancellations
Requested changes are handled according to availability and the rules of the wildlife authority, airline, lodge or other supplier involved. Additional costs are payable by the traveler. Cancellation charges normally increase as the travel date approaches because more suppliers become fully committed. Comprehensive travel insurance is therefore strongly recommended from the time of confirmation.
Traveler responsibilities
Travelers remain responsible for passports, visas, insurance, medical advice, vaccinations, international flights and compliance with entry rules. Wildlife, road and weather conditions can affect timing, and the operator may adjust the daily order where necessary to protect safety and the confirmed core experiences.
